They meet on the beach in Uptown Miami a day later and Joey comes up with a plan to have Roscoe detained instead of killing him. Johnny steals them and destroys Roscoe's house with him, but after searching the area, they can't find him.
Betty informs the men that the police have a Washington flamethrower with them. Johnny believes that Roscoe had orchestrated Joey's kidnapping and plans to kill him. Joey, Johnny, Betty, and LC meet out of the bog, clear the way, where Roscoe has been hiding for 10 years without the police finding him. Betty asks LC to rescue them and after a few days, LC arrives and kills the guards surrounding the slaughterhouse. Johnny tells Betty to call for a friend in Los Angeles named Luis Custodio (known as LC who appeared as a main character in the game for the first time as a mob boss). The man who locked them in the cage goes to Betty, intending to rape her, but Betty hits him and takes her phone. They find Joey, who is in a cage, but Johnny is knocked out by a baseball bat and he and the rest are trapped in a cage. Johnny and Betty (who have fallen in love, without Roscoe's knowledge) infiltrate the slaughterhouse and a shooting ensues. After Johnny scares him on a car ride, he gives up and gives him Joey's place: A slaughterhouse in the middle of a corn field. Johnny leaves Kaye and learns that a pimp known only as Reginald has information on Joey. When he was transferred to a maximum security prison, Johnny Vega shoots before he can escape on foot. One of the jobs including killing Victor Vega, who had been arrested for Johnny after stealing his drugs. Kaye sends Johnny on an odd number of jobs, most of them are against Monique Jones, whom Herman Kaye had made famous in the music industry, but Jones ended up letting him go on his own.
Betty tells Johnny that a man named Herman Kaye is in downtown Miami and that he will probably have answers for him. Instead he comes across millions of dollars worth of heroin and Roscoe convinces Johnny to give it to him. The ship finds Vega, but discovers that the "little bastard" is not his brother. He talks about "the little bastard", and Johnny is supposed to mean his brother. Johnny spies on Vega in the warehouse on the docks and sees him dealing with a detective named Bolaño. Roscoe tells Johnny that an inexorable Cuban mafia boss named Victor Vega has Joey in his custody. After a race, Johnny tells Alberto that he will be able to give him enough money to buy any car he wants. The owner of the gas station, Albert, From the beginning of the game he meets again with Johnny and tells him that he will have to pay for the car he stole. After completing all the missions including races, the player can change their character from Johnny to Betty. The game features the new retina display. Even though it is the successor to Gangstar: West Coast Hustle, the only two connections the games make are the LC look and the Eddie Fallon reference. According to Gameloft's game preview, the map was 1.5 times larger than the previous game. Apart from people, crocodiles can attack, but they do not give any benefit. This game features more profane than the previous game. Additionally, the game now features voice acting instead of textual dialogue, albeit lacking in facial animations. Police vehicles can be customized as well. Unlike the previous game, Gangstar: West Coast Hustle, has characteristics such as helicopters, boats and motorcycles.
